For dessert tonight we had a recipe I adapted from a pod cast I had listened to during the past week.
The recipe of one of Andy Deas and it was on the The Paleo Solution pod cast.
The recipe I adapted from this pod cast is as follows. I piped mine into little dark chocolate cups
1 can of coconut cream
1 green apple, skinned and sliced, core removed
1 and a half tsps of Cinnamon (to taste)
Gently heat coconut cream and add sliced apple. Once the apple is soft, blend with a stick type blender. Add the Cinnamon to taste.
Spoon out into serving bowls and let cool. Once cool it will thicken and can be eaten.

I will be using this blog to share with you the paleo food that I prepare at home for my family to eat. I will be uploading the photos that I take of the meals and the recipes that I use and the links to other sites.

Greens
Tonight we had a serve of greens to accompany our Garlic and Lemon Prawns. The recipe we used comes from Jamie Olivers 30 minute meals The dish is broccoli and asparagus with chilies and other spices and is very nice.
The greens are to the rear of the photo.

Lemon and Garlic Prawns/Shrimps
Tonight we had Lemon and Garlic Prawns, the recipe was adapted from Lemon and Garlic Scallops from Paleo Diet Lifstyle. Scallops are too expensive in Perth at the moment so I swapped them for prawns.
The dish turned out fairly nice but a bit light on in flavor, the garlic was there and could really be tasted but the lemon was hiding in the background somewhere. We also used about a half of the ghee listed in the recipe and served it with a side of greens which I will post about soon.
Score: 5/10

Korean Short Ribs (Kalbi, Galbi, 갈비)
Last night we had ribs for tea. Korean ribs from The Domestic Man
We marinaded our over night and cooked them in the oven, 185 c for about 45 min. The taste was very nice, the spice a little too mild for me perhaps but the meat just fell off the ribs.
